About performer:

The Croatian Baroque Ensemble is the most prominent Croatian ensemble specialized in the historically accurate interpretation of instrumental and vocal-instrumental music of the Baroque period and recent epochs. It was founded in 1999, and brings together renowned musicians of the younger generation. In addition to regular concert cycles at the Croatian Music Institute, they are regular guests of numerous domestic and foreign festivals (Varaždin Baroque Evenings, Dubrovnik Summer Festival, Split Summer, Korkyra Baroque Festival, Osor Music Evenings, Music Evenings in St. Donatus, Histria Festival, Passion Heritage, Organum Histriae, Concerts in Euphrasian, Rovinj Music Summer, Brod Summer, Osijek Summer, Pag Summer, SEVICQ Brežice Festival, Croatian Music Festival in Vienna, Esteban Salas Festival (Havana – Cuba), Melk International Baroque Festival, Misiones de Chiquitos Festival (Bolivia ), Festival of spiritual music of Central European countries in Rome, Festival Tesori musicali Toscani – Pisa, etc.

The Croatian Baroque Ensemble won the Milka Trnina Diploma of the Croatian Society of Music Artists in 2002 and the Orlando Award for its performance at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival in 2014.
